Snow-pansies
The Scots are snow-pansies....well, our Headmaster is anyway. An inch of snow hit the ground today and school was closed. I'm not complaining but it is amusing. I made fun of them: "I'm Canadian. I'm used to walking 10 km in ten foot high snow drifts for 11 months of the year. This is nothing."
Now the rugby match on Friday is probably going to be cancelled and the trip to Murrayfield will be in question.

Well, you can tell them that I'm walking 40 minutes in the snow (mid-calf high so far) and the low is -10 (high is -2) BEFORE windchill. and this is only the beginning.
yeah, tell them they've never experienced TRUE sporting bliss until they get smacked with a soccer ball in freezing temperatures. Good ol' snow soccer....

We only got rained on a bit. All the snow is gone now. The Kiwis are so good!
I don't mind you lurking. I think hanging out 5 times justifies a comment now and again. What I find kinda strange is that I have met your teacher friend from Scotland! (i saw the photo on your blog...I can lurk too)
